Join this virtual round table discussion hosted by Texas Southern University and the Texas Women’s Foundation. This discussion will focus on how Black girls and young women’s voices are often silenced in racial, gender and social justice movements. It will spotlight the differences in how Black girls are treated differently in school and in the juvenile justice system, and show young women how to advocate for themselves and use the law on their own behalf.
